It’s that time of year in Malaga, with Calle Larios, where yet again, ILMEX Illumination by Ximenez Group turned the city into the world’s most Christmassy place of 2017-2018 .
This time, Ximenez Group designed an amazing ‘starry sky,’ with a 25,500 kgs tubular structure that runs 350 meters wrapping the whole street with 3,200 strings of microled lights and 344 colourful stars and moons made with lit acrylic.
The most memorable impact for all visitors: a synchronized Christmas Light Show to Music. ILMEX Illumination by Ximenez Group designed and synchronized 3 different customized shows with ‘The show must go on of Queen’, ‘Fortuna del Carmina Burana of Carl Orff’ and ‘Last Christmas of Wham!’ songs.
The contagious enthusiasm of the crowd when the lights were turned on each evening to the accompaniment of the rousing stirring music was a tribute to the passion that the light tunnel engendered. The whole tunnel of flashing lights each evening was packed with a huge throng of mainly Spaniards until late in the evening.
The modernity of the design reflects the grandeur of this type of project developed by ILMEX Illumination and Ximenez Group. Always striving to be right up to date and keep progressing in the world of lighting.
