Ilmex is part of the Ximenez Group, a business group composed of several subsidiaries that allow for the custom creation of any lighting project, from design to installation and storage, using their own resources.
Since its founding in 1998, Ilmex by Ximenez Group has become the most international face of the business group, taking its lighting work all around the world. With 25 years of history, Ilmex is one of the world’s leading companies in artistic and decorative lighting.
Located in Puente Genil, Ximenez Group consists of Ximenez Iluminación, a company specializing in artistic and decorative lighting installation at the national level; Ilmex, its factory and international distribution brand; and Fundacion Ximenez, established in 2019 with the main objective of actively contributing to the fight against climate change and promoting new, more efficient and environmentally-friendly consumption models.

Sustainability y environment
Since its founding 25 years ago, Ilmex by Ximenez Group has maintained a strong commitment to sustainability and the environment. In 2007, the group pioneered a technological transformation process, replacing all incandescence lighting with LED technology in all of its festive lighting projects. Thanks to this transformation, it has managed to reduce energy consumption in its lighting installation by over 90% also saving the emission of 3,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. Today, installing 100% LED and energy-efficient lighting projects is a reality in Ximenez Group. This achievement earned the company recognition as one of the 101 business examples for Climate Action at the 2019 Climate Summit held in Madrid.
Futhermore, the company focuses its production model on the reuse and transformation of materials to minimize waste generation and optimize the lifespan of resources. Thanks to this ongoing effort and continuous research to create increasingly environmentally-friendly lighting that respects the environment, Ximenez has patented the most sustainable and environmentally-fiendly decorative lighting in the industry: Ecogreenlux.
This product reduces light pollution by 93% and results in a 60% reduction in energy consumption compared to current LED lighting.
