BELLS

Collaboration with
Sergio Sebastian

Sergio Sebastian is one of the most renowned architects in Spain, and he is the mastermind behind the Bells lighting project, manufactured by Ilmex, which was installed next to the Sant Cugat monastery in 2017.

This Project features various structures shaped like conical bells, each identified by a distinct color and adorned with a bell that reclects the sky and its surroundings on its exterior.

A fascinating immersive experience

Upon entering beneath these bell-shaped structures, reflections and lighting effects multiply, creating a captivating and unique immersive experience. What’s more, it produces differents effects when illuminated and when reflecting natural daylight, making it an attractive visual spectacle around the clock. Inside, it pays homage to the romantic rosette window of the monastery, thanks to a structure composed of layers of colored glass pieces.
