IRIS is a design created by architect Ben Busche, from the Brut Deluxe studio, exclusively manufactured by Ilmex for the city of Madrid, specifically for the Canalejas Square during Christmas 2022.
Rising 9 meters above the ground, this majestic mesh of concentric red and blue luminous cords creates the illusion of a giant iris floating in space or a distant galaxy in the heart of Madrid.

This incredible artistic lighting installation covers a total area of 2,000 square meters, spread across the entire diameter of the square. The LED light thread that comprises it has a total length of 2 kilometers, with two one-meter-diameter spheres in the central area that constantly change color, creating an idyllic and fantasy-filled ambiance. Undoubtedly, IRIS is one of the most spectacular projects manufactured by Ilmex for the city of Madrid.
