Collaboration with
Ben Busche

The architecture studio Brut Deluxe, led by Ben Busche, was commissioned to create an artistic installation for a student residence in Madrid. This Project, named YOYO, was manufactured by Ilmex in 2020. Brut Deluxe proposed placing the installation in the entrance lobby, which had a four-story height. This allowed the YOYO installation to take center stage at night, creating a vibrant atmosphere that plays with the association of nightlife, pop culture, social media and attraction.

Installation with infinity effect

The YOYO installation consists of two main elements: a cloud of neon signs that hang randomly in the space and a mirror that covers the entire ceiling to create an infinity effect when looking upward.
