Stars
Collaboration with
Sergio Sebastian
Zaragoza was the chosen city to showcase this stunning design by architect Sergio Sebastian, manufactured by Ilmex, under the name Stars. A new sky adorned with one of the main symbols of Christmas: stars. Their fragmented ends transformed into white crystal triangles that, when illuminated, hung suspended in the sky, evoking the lighting style of the 1970s in the same city. Moreover, these star fragments served as a tribute to the victims of Covid-19.
A new spatial dimension.
Zaragoza’s Paseo de la Independencia became the urban atrium of the city, acquiring a new depth and spatial dimensión, enhancing its magical connection with one of Zaragoza’s most characteristic natural phenomena, fog, which amplified the lighting events. The Stars project consisted of a total of 20 arches suspended 9 meters above the ground, each composed of 20 modules featuring star-shaped tips.
