Christmas lighting as an investment and experience
More and more cities in Spain and around the world are investing in Christmas lighting and lightshows as an economic investment and an additional touristic attraction during the holiday season. Valladolid is one of those cities that has places a strong emphasis on Christmas lights, and in 2022, it featured a Christmas lighting project exclusively designed by Ilmex.
The lighting project created for Valladolid for its 2022 Christmas season consisted of a set of large structures, all of them harmoniously designed in terms of style, lights and colors. A total of 10 gift boxes, measuring 11 meters in height and 8 and a half meters in width, adorned the main street of the city. Specific lightshows were also designed for these walkable structures to make them shine and stand out even more, synchronized to music.
Jointly designed elements
Completing this ensemble was a 29-meter-tall Christmas tree that adorned the main square of Valladolid. Its design was also centered around a gift box theme, and together with the ten gift boxes, they formed a spectacular luminous landscape and a magical experience.
