design for Qatar

In 2021, Qatar unveiled a spectacular decorative lighting project exclusively designed and manufactured for the country’s capital by Ilmex: The Crystal Tree. This large 3D decorative luminous element in the shape of a tree is crafted using pixel LED technology and adorned with striking dichroic sheets.

This stunning and colorful 10 meter-tall tree features the latest lighting techonology, allowing for the programming of lightshows that can be adapted to suit the occasion and the client’s desires. Its innovative design makes it a striking visual attraction during the day and a luminous structure that stands out at night.

Its multiple functionalities and its great adaptability to the moment’s needs made The Crystal Tree one of the decorative elements of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, projecting the flags of the football teams that played their matches in one of the capital’s main stadiums.
