One of most iconic structures by Ilmex, the walkable Christmas ball has become one of the main attractions during the Christmas season on Madrid’s Gran Via, and just because of its presence but also due to the nightly light shows it offers, captivating the attention of thousands of visitors and cameras.
Project in collaboration with the Brut Deluxe studio
With a diameter of 12 meters, the Giant Christmas ball on the Gran Via is composed of over 43,000 LED pixel lights, which are used to create custom-designed light shows for the structure. Located in front of the emblematic Metropolis building, it lights up every Christmas night so that both citizens and visitors can enjoy the spectacular displays and the festive scene it creates in the heart of Madrid.
